Application Design Award
During the event in Vaxholm, Stockholm on June 29th, we launch Application Design Award 2010 - a contest where you as a developer will have the opportunity to change the future of the Baltic Sea. How can you visualize the Baltic Sea health? How can you create innovative mobile solutions that benefit the Baltic Sea?
Unique data from SMHI (Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute) will be available for you to help with creating your app.
The jury will judge the apps by the following criteria:
1. Sustainability: How does the innovation contribute to a sustainable future for the Baltic Sea?
2. Uniqueness: Has anyone else done something similar?
3. Scale: How easy is it to scale the innovation?
4. Realisation: Is it doable and how? Fail fast: Time/money. (maximum 6 months/2 people)?
5. Usability/time: how quickly does the user adapt/does the system respond?
The winners of Application Design Award 2010 will not only contribute to solving the challenges in the Baltic Sea - but will also win a ”green weekend package” from Scandic and 50 000 SEK.
THE WINNERS WERE PRESENTED ON NOVEMBER 10. SEE THE VIDEO HERE:
